Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences
Simone assists faculty with the development of courses in a Canvas LMS. She conducts virtual trainings and creates microlearning videos on its basic features.
American Nurses Association
Simone developed online education for nurses using Articulate Rise, Storyline, Premiere, Photoshop, and Illustrator. She then uploaded the modules into a D2L LMS.
American International Health Alliance
Simone developed online education for nurses, midwives, and other health professionals using iSpring. She then uploaded the modules to a Moodle LMS.
Cultural Orientation Certification Series
Simone researched, wrote, designed, and developed this series of nine lessons using Articulate Storyline, Photoshop, Final Cut X and Adobe Premiere. Topics covered include working with interpreters and adult learning theory. She also implemented and managed registration and learning management systems to gather analytics on users and their needs, as well as administer quizzes and award certificates of completion.
Building Respect and Dignity for LGBT Older Adult
Simone worked with a video producer, video editor, web developer and subject matter experts from the LGBT Aging Center and The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to create this one-hour online training for caregivers. She used Adobe Captivate and Photoshop.
Introduction to Sara
Simone worked independently with a subject matter expert in South Africa to create a 20-minute online university course for PSI International (a global health non-profit) using Adobe Captivate.
